Bliley Introduces LP-N: Low Power OCXO in DIP8 Package

September 16th, 2016

Erie, PA – Bliley Technologies, leader in high performance frequency control devices, today announced a second package size for their series of world leading low power ovenized oscillators (OCXOS).  The LP-N has the same best-in-class power consumption as the LP102 and is offered in the industry standard DIP8 package.  Offering exceptional stability and phase noise performance in a product that consumes only 135mW, Bliley’s Low Power OCXOs (LP-OCXOs) represents a major innovation in the frequency control industry.

"The goal with our low power product line is to offer the highest performance that is expected from a Bliley part, but with a power budget that is a fraction of standard OCXOs," stated Tommy Reed, Bliley's VP of Technology.  “This new footprint allows Bliley to compete head-to-head with competitors in the low power market,” he added.

“The industry standard DIP8 package size will allow us to be a drop in replacement for our customers that are seeking even lower power or phase noise than what their current low power OCXOs are offering,” said Greg Rogers, VP of Products.  Commenting on the LP-N's availability, Greg said "the LP-N is currently sampling with full production expected late Q4."
